Whoopee!!! (what a load of bollox)

 

It's been reported on Jamie Ness's instagram account that he has left the club.

 

Most fans agree that he wasn't a bad player...but too injury prone....someone else commented that it will free up a bed in the treatment room.

 

Talk on pasoti of young players being released....those mentioned.....Rooney, Hodges, Battle & Bentley....but I cannot find any written evidence from my end at the moment.

 

Still cannot find an official post regarding the release of some of our younger players.....surprising that it has happened before a new manager can run his eye over all the playing staff.....surely not done by Adams before he left was it ?.....we know he rarely gave youth a chance.....and you wondered why we bothered to run a youth outfit under Adams.....what a mess he seems to have left behind him.....too much authority in one persons hands.

 

One of the costs of relegation will be that EFL funding for a Div2 club will be £438,000 less over a season.

....and possibly Argyle will have reduced gates to start with....they will need a good promotion push to compensate.

 

I see Liverpool came back to beat Barcelona 4-0.....they've come on a shade since we held them to a draw.....

 

Stunning performance............... as much in getting the nil as the four.

The retained list is up on the club website. Much as I'd like to be loyal, rather surprised new contracts have been offered to Gary Sawyer and David Fox. How long those contracts are we don't know of course.

It looks as if Derek Adams refusal to talk to the press after the Accrington game was the final straw for the directors....a manager has the obligation to talk to the press after the match...win lose or draw.....Adams embarrassed the club by not doing that.

 

Graham Carey has been linked with a move to Coventry on a free transfer move....probably the first of many rumours in the next couple of months.

 

What free transfer? He's out of contract isn't he so he can pick and choose where he goes or if he stays.

 

What a depressing week for an Argyle fan.....I'm not a fan of Liverpool. Spurs (sorry Joe) or Man City....bur wow what a week their fans have had....Kompany scoring a fantastic goal...Liverpool coming back with four and finally Spurs scoring a third in injury time....makes you jealous....to watch Liverpool's team spread in front of the Cop singing ...You'll never walk alone... for ages with the fans....and then back to reality....Argyle slumping back into level four....is being depressed low enough to sink.

 

Ryan Edwards is interesting a few Div 1 & Scottish clubs.....I wouldn't be over upset if he left....we need more pace at the back...to counter act that 80 goal defensive calamity that got us relegated.

Arsenal & Chelsea have literally to go half way around the world to play their final.

 

It looks as if Ryan Edwards has decided to move on.....not too disappointed.....we need pace at the back....that's why we shipped 80 goals.

 

Ryan Edwards confirms that he will not be taking up Argyle's offer of a new contract.....fair enough...best wishes for the future.

AFC Fylde...v...Salford City.

The winner will be a new opponent next season in Div 2 for Argyle.

If Salford win they will be buying better quality players than we can afford next season....got a bit of cash......plus the class 92 behind them.

 

Salford City winning 3-0 after 70 mins....looks like a trip to Manchester for us next season.
