I'm not obsessed with quoting pasoti plym I find it enough just to read some pages. Your second para as previously quoted can be found on Brief Synopsis page 2 in several posts almost word for word. But of course you don't read it. If I believed it was your opinion you were spouting and not a cut and paste I might accept it more readily. If you post an opinion it should be your own not a rehash.

I don't care where you or any other Argyle supporter is born bred or lives. What pisses me off greatly is the lack of any support. Far too many just simply criticise anything and everything that happens at Home Park. They complain about the calibre of players before a ball is kicked almost at every signing. They complain about the football even if they don't see it and only follow it on a computer print out. That's a general observation from years of reading it rather than just this season. They complain about formation before kick off and during the game along with the selection and subs. Get the drift? They complain about every fecking thing going and can never find a positive anywhere. It begs the question why do they even bother pretending to support when no support is evident anywhere? Ever heard the saying "It's friends like that I could do without". I will repeat my previous post. Positive one. The object of the exercise was to stay in league one this season. Mission accomplished with relative ease.

But hey. you carry on with the constant dripping if it makes you feel better. However, if you put up an opinion then it is in the public domain and there to be disputed if there is an alternative opinion. All this "you are picking on me" crap is simply that. You are virtually the only one on here who constantly slags off the club. If they play badly then fine say so. Next game you should be back giving them a bit of a Gee up not keeping the beating going.

    Talking of negative and positive.
My Brother and i have watched Argyle for many years.
My Brother see's the negative, and me the positive.
We still are the best of friends.

You can still give him a kick in the arris though BC. Everybody at some point sees a negative and that's ok. But to harp on an on about only negative things is where I have a problem. Never anything good to say is where a number of supposed Argyle supporters go. If I was constantly negative about something then I'd have to question myself why am I bothering with it. If something is that poor and makes you that unhappy then it's trying to tell you something isn't it.

Amongst my emails this morning was a weekly Chris Errington update....and he mentions that Conor Grant is open to the possibilities of talks over a new contract....one of the players that Argyle need to retain.

I've also seen that pasoti have mentioned the same Chris Errington news letter....so that's me damned yet again by sensible....who will yet again condemn me for pasoti copying.....damned if I do...damned if I don't......no way can I win.

No plym you just don't get it. The above is news not opinion. With news there is no other option but to repeat it unless you are the one making it. It's copying the moans and groans constantly. If you aren't copying then the theory must be it is the same person with a thousand different names. Stop feeling sorry for yourself.

I can't be bothered anymore what you think and how you see things....it seems I can only have views if they differ from pasoti or conform to your high moral standards.....in fact is it worth the effort of posting on here anymore if my posts have to pass the thoughts of chairman sensible.....your trying to white wash any differing opinion to you own.....that's not a football discussion site.

There there poor thing. If you believe in what you say then argue your corner. I could argue that you only want to see your opinion on here and if challenged you burst into tears and cry foul. What's the difference? I challenge your views. That IS a football discussion site.

10 years on not606....most of the time it has been a friendly site....but during this last year sensible has taken a disliking to what I post and has been hostile to my views....it is possible to do that without being so unfriendly....but that's not sensible's style....he has to be just unpleasant....I don't need that at the moment.

In the last 18 months my situation has become difficult at home with Mrs Plym's health....in Feb 2020 she had major surgery for cancer at Guys Hospital....the surgeon removed a growth the size of a small baby ...(his words)....a thymoma is the term...which was growing between her heart and right lung. Ten days re-cooperating in Guys....then home and soon into the March lockdown....which was a problem for any follow up requirements. The operation did not solve the problems she had...which caused problems in both legs with severe pain and swelling....to the extent that she can only move slowly around at home...using a stick....only telephone correspondence is possible with doctors and specialists which turn out fruitless....until her leg problems are solved the hip replacement that has been okayed by the surgeon who did her first hip replacement around 2012 cannot take place.

sensible's criticism of my postings just isn't important enough to be bothered about....so enough is enough.....home life is difficult enough without dealing with all that crap from someone whose view of me are set in stone.

I'll finish the prediction league on Sunday and stop posting....it might be for just awhile....it might be for longer...it will depend how I feel.

None of this has been downloaded from pasoti....just in case sensible is scouring it's pages looking for the relative link....he is obsessed enough to do that.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Plym, with lock down moving towards an end and the summer coming I hope better times are not too far ahead.

I have to object to you leaving. Who's going to make sure I do my predictions properly? I'm clearly not capable of doing it myself.

I do find the reaction of some people to this season slightly (very?) odd, and that is in general not just on here
Short memories , but cast your minds back 12 months and the only priority was survival of the football club. If you need another priority it was to stay in L1 and a third if you like was to prepare for season 21/22 and something like normality. The first two have been achieved with some comfort and the third is well underway. Stats for this season are meaningless, there have been so many differences to a normal season that comparisons are pointless, not least 20 midweek games, the endless (but necessary) covid protocols that have had to be observed by players & staff on a daily basis, the lack of fans, and a very uncertain financial picture.
We have achieved what we set out to do. Job done. Forget this season, the next is the one the matters- in the unlikely event that next season turns out like this one then criticise if you must, but criticising this season is pointless.

I'd put my wife's medical record up here if you can relate it to football opinion if you like. It's a bit low using that if I'm honest. I have views set in stone. Of course I have just like you appear to have. So it's a crime to state them on an opinion forum (your words not mine). You don't like the words used? Well tough I put it how I feel and if you are such a snowflake that it offends you so badly then that's your hard luck. Try giving a bit back , I promise you I won't run away or hide behind something else. Lyndhurst is absolutely spot on. Everyone was talking about staying in league one as the target. It was pretty much the only target talked about at the start. It would be success was the thought process. Well guess what, they did exactly what the vast majority wanted. Having done that what do a whole load of supposed fans do? Slag them off for it and cannot find even that as a positive just for once. Can you see why it irks? Probably not.

By the way I'm also sorry to hear about the wife. I hope she improves.

All very valid points Lyndy, which have been made in this discussion. And all those games in quick succession must, despite the best of arrangements, be more taxing on a club furthest from anywhere.

Sorry BC I missed the question previously. Answer is more than likely. I just want them to say we can return to the terraces so that I don't get a hard time from the lady wot keeps the purse. She didn't quite get why I didn't get money back from last season. Ask for it back more to the point. To chuck in another all but £700 not to go again would drive her insane. She doesn't quite understand the "it's my club" thing and only sees it in cash terms or value for money.

Arrangements and prices have been announced for 21/22 Season Tickets.

    https://www.pafc.co.uk/news/2021/may/2122-season-tickets/

    In summary:
    • Prices have been frozen
    • There is a discount for those renewing a 20/21 ticket (£80 for a full adult ticket). I don't know how that compares with normal years.
    • If there are attendance limits which mean not all season ticket holders can attend at one time, they will be admitted by rotation, not by date of renewal
    • Season ticket holders who are not admitted because of attendance restrictions will be given a video pass and will be refunded for the difference between the season ticket match cost and a video pass cost. That gives some protection against being left out of pocket for a second season.
What does Mrs. Sensible make of that I wonder?

I have spoken to her about the offers and have told her that if I buy a season ticket and then can't go I will not leave the money in the club this time. I haven't gone into all the permutations on offer yet because before a final decision I need to speak to my son who I will be seeing tomorrow. Thing is going to the games is an US thing rather than a me thing. We have both gone for almost as long as I can remember now. He has a daughter who has some medical problems with her immune system so needs to be comfortable with mixing with a crowd. If he is happy then it is likely we will renew.

I have three comments on the offer. The first is that I think it is fair and they have obviously thought about what people gave up last season. The second is that the price is a bigger reduction than just early bird prices so loyalty is being rewarded. Lastly it is clear they have listened to supporters and especially on entry allocation to the ground in the event of it not being a full venue. I think if people stood little chance of getting in then season ticket sales would have just fallen off. The fact they listen is a real bonus.
