Is it fair to say that Italian fans are now the scourge of Europe?
It is well documented that the Ultra`s in Italy give out violence to pretty much any English team regardless to there being any form of club rivalry. Italian fans have many years of history of Football violence possibly worse than England.
Italian fans were involved in violence with Liverpool fans which resulted in All English clubs being banned from any European games.
Since that time Italian fans seem to have been given free reign to beat up and stab any foreign fan they come across with no repercussion in any form whatsoever.

My personal thoughts on this and if there is any form of justice, Italy should be given a min 5 yr ban from any comp in Europe.
Failing that UEFA shold issue a statement saying they welcome a call to arms of ALL English supporters.

English supporters these days are regularly subjected to beatings by foreign fans with no form of justice, whilst knowing any form of retaliation will make them villified the world over.

IMO Italian and Turkish clubs should be banned from any form of European comps for the foreseeable future.

    What are other people`s views?

It's not just the Italian fans. What's even more concerning the beatings the Italian police seem to give out for no apparent reason. There's plenty of footage of the police flying into the fans waving batons regardless of who is in there way with absolutely nothing being done about it <grr>
