You tube obviously knows its geography, this came on after Ian, and I believe Ray Dorsett (lead singer of Mungo Jerry) is the only person from Ashford to have a number 1

In the Top 10 of songs that I play and my kids actually like, probably Top 5.

It is a great song, but better by Lowe's collaborator Dave Edmunds

I'm getting Damned withdrawal symptoms. This clip sees our boys - Dave, Rat, Bryn and Roman as Naz Nomad & The Nightmares - the band they formed when Captain was off sniffing coke and being a pop star - and just before Dave Vanian & The Phantom Chords - the band that sort of replaced The Damned, when that was shelved in this year.

Great shows, playing 60's 'head music' after a good rummage in thre dressing up box.

    Enjoy...

Just paid £300 to a tout for a pair of tickets (face value a whopping £85 each) for my youngest to go and see My Chemical Romance in Milton Keynes 21 June.

I've also got to drive her up there for a 5.00 pm door opening...and wait until lights up around 11 pm because there are no trains she'll be able to catch. ...on Fathers' Day...which just happens to be my birthday as well....<wah>

I suspect turning Japanese is not very PC these days.
Can you imagine a power pop song reaching no.1 now?
