For this album, they hadn't changed much from the Gabriel era (in fact Gabriel has said that many times people congratulate him for this, even though he had nothing to do with it). It was after this - when Steve Hackett left the band - that they moved away from prog rock to a pop vibe. I still like Genesis later albums, but it divides fans from this era.

I have. Great soundtrack. Initial release was bugged to ****, though. The sequel should be out at about the same time that Half Life 3 is released, too...
Yeah, there was something underneath the rushed release that was worth rescuing, for sure. It's a shame that the company behind it couldn't have got out a more polished product or they might've survived. Hopefully the sequel won't fall foul of the same problem. It's delayed release might suggest either way.
