Now you remind me , I saw the Damned at the Marquee and the Captain wore a kilt, what a sight with one foot on the monitor
I really didn't think this song would sound any good acoustic. Busking the Deftones probably isn't recommended, though.
Apparently she wasn't busy enough with BANDMAID... ...and a hell of a lot of people don't realise April 1st happened at about 4pm GMT in Japan
1975 Dr Feelgood , my favourite frontman Lee Brilleaux , dirty suit , harmonica in his pocket , Wilco playing his chops with the manic stare, Sparko on Bass and the "Big Figure on drums I've lost count of the times I saw this band but when Lee left us I could not bring myself to go again
None better than the Feelgoods in a sweaty club , British R&B at its finest , no need for the gym if you went to one of their gigs
One of the great OGWT performances. Classic demonstration of the Wilko combined lead/rhythm guitar sound. Travesty that they never got the commercial rewards their sound deserved.
Travesty that they never got the commercial rewards their sound deserved.[/QUOTE] No chance with the likes of Bay city Rollers, smokie, osmonds ect in the charts Going to a Feelgoods gig was an event, a special occasion and a place to meet like minded people, I met Mrs Conn at one of their gigs and 42 yrs later she is still with me ( until she finds the padlock key )
Just heard that Paul Ritter ,Martin of Friday Night Dinner and the brilliant Dyatluv in Chernobyl has died from a brain tumour He was a wonderful actor who popped up in many roles and I would certainly watch anything he was in As he would have said "**** on it " and Shalom RIP and Travel well Mr Ritter
