The Chairboys head north to Lancashire for our usual mid week fixture against Stanley at the Crown Ground looking to continue our good form at a difficult ground for us to go to, there has been 26 games between the teams which we have won seven and drew ten a stat that we need to improve on, but it will be tough ask against a team whose average height is over 6 foot especially if we don't play any recognised centre backs but they are stuck in the drop zone for a reason having won just the once this year. Gaz has a big dilemma does he change a winning team to bring in a couple of centre backs or not I suppose it could depend on the fitness of Mawson and Tafa as it would be a big risk to play Forino, Willis and Wakely but maybe one worth taking Campbell could get his first start and I would like to see Thomo back in some form or another. This game is available for everyone on Wanderers TV and I will be in front of the TV for this one hoping we can continue to defy the stats and head back south with all the spoils of war
Tough ask tonight, likely to see some changes if we have enough fit players. Strongly hoping for a win but would take a draw.
You know what, I can never work out or formation anymore, or who plays where. Totally confusing to me.
I see Ipswich and Derby both dropped 2 points. Pity about Barnsley but so far we are doing what we need to do. Can't ask for more than that
