Starting to take shape, NZ. We only appear to be a few points behind 20/21, but the points trajectory from game #22 was fierce then.
I can't get the new style league table i have been using which differentiates between home games and away games. You will have to make do with the old version. In terms of points we are as close to first place as we are to thirteenth place and we are as close to second as we are to eleventh. It is very tight and any team that shows any kind of consistency will shoot up the table. We seem to be winning two out of three games lately. If we can keep that up we will get another 52 points which will be good enough for the play-offs but probably not for automatic promotion. Only one team has finished second with fewer than 85 points in the last ten seasons .
We need to strengthen in the January window not weaken ourselves I am sure Pozzo knows the danger of losing our best players a a critical time, next summer might be the danger time if we dont go up
Looking better and on a par with previous promotions We need Sarr safe and motivated after World Cup Pedro to be consistent for the rest of the season Davis to get fully match fit and Asprilla to understand how good he is and to use that for the benefit of the team Bonus would be Louza and Gosling to be fit for next season
Advanced warning. I won't be able to do these stats after next week until 5th February. If anyone is interested in doing this, or a reduced number of tables please contact me and I will send the excel spreadsheets with instructions.
