So you think Sheff Utd who have 1 point or Burnley who’ve scored a whopping 6 goals are better than us?! Look we all hate Bruce and know this club is ****ed whilst Ashley is here but we will still be a premier league club this time next year because there are worse teams than us
Sheffield Utd are 17 points behind us, regardless of the fact they might play slightly more attractive football I would say they are inherently worse than us
I'm only talking about football. Couldn't give a **** about points. I don't go and watch games based on points, I go based on football being played.
Bruce is still surviving off the back of the defence rafa built and the addition of max last season and Wilson this.. Everything Bruce's done has been poor.
I’d agree, anything Bruce has bought defensively has made no improvement, Lewis could be good under a different manager but he’s basically using the defenders Rafa signed.
Bruce will do even further damage on January... I suspected Fraser was almiron replacement in the summer and since its been obvious he's leaving. I think he'll bring in Jones fron man united and Davies from Everton.. I think the clubs finished tbh
@Darren Peacock's Ponytail with you 100% If you want to simply exist like the disgusting filth floating at the top of a pond, then Bruce, Rafa or the like are simply perfection for you. I want to watch Newcastle play football, even attempt too. I absolutely despise the current position of this club.
The football rafa was playing wa actually very good in that it was a deliberately constructed counter attacking side.. It was actually good... Bruce's football is not even close to as good.. Its just a mess. People might not like counter attacking football, but that's different to just watching shot football. Rafa would be ideal post takeover then when his times up and the foundations aye there go after someone that can teach the pretty game
Upon a single statement of intent is released from one party involved in this takeover I will begin discussing post takeover managers, of which would not be Howe, Dyche and the like. But until then I accept our current position, we can do better than we have and should hire those people.
No the football was **** to watch. Effective but **** to watch. i.e. not good football as good football suggests you'd want to watch it. I'd have rather watched the inside of my eyelids for 90mins.
It was good football You just didn't like seeing it and that's different to bad football That's the point I've been making
Nope the general consensus is we were poor to watch. Poor to watch. Effective at staying up. i.e. not good football as good football suggests you'd want to watch it. You clearly enjoy ultra defensive counter attack. That's ok too, the world takes all sorts. I'm not saying you have to agree with the vast majority who just didn't enjoy it. They'd rather watch football played in a more attacking way as they find that more entertaining. Rafa has his way, not for me but nothing wrong with liking a bit of catenaccio
