I was glad to hear that Steve Snell turned out for Somerset yesterday. He answered an emegency call as both their 'keepers/batsmen were unavailable. By all accounts he did well.

Snell is a quality 'keeper incredibly discarded by GCCC at the end of last season. Infinitely better than Batty he was not 'flavour of the month' with Bracewell.

I hope this short appearance in the shop window leads to a county having a look at him.

See Snell led Somerset to victory in the T20 tournament. I hope this knocks leads him to a contract with a county.

From Cricinfo: "I felt pretty hard done by when I was let go [by Gloucestershire]; it was quite a shock. Hopefully this tournament gives me a chance to show counties what I've got."
I think we all (except JB) agree with you Steve. Good Luck!
