I reckon Stewart and Simms will get one each with Clarke getting at least one assist.

So much depends on how our luck is with injuries. Batth and Evans (and Neil) both out would be a problem.

Alex Neil has provided an injury update ahead of Saturday’s trip the Stoke City.
Corry Evans, Carl Winchester, Dan Ballard and Leon Dajaku missed Wednesday’s trip to Bramall Lane, and the Head Coach provided the latest ahead of tomorrow.

“With Corry Evans it’s not a significant injury, so to be honest we expected him to be fit for the game the other night,” he said.
“It was just one where the night before it came through that he wasn’t going to be available for the match.
“We’ll cast our eye over him and see where we get to.
“Danny Batth should be okay, and with Carl (Winchester) we’ll go through a period of rest, pick him back up and see how he reacts.
“Dan Ballard obviously won’t be available, and we’re not putting a timescale on that one.”

Great thread RTB. Grateful to have them. Difficult game aren't they all at the minute. Fancy us to nick this in a dull scrappy affair. Keep the faith lads and lasses.

Tough game this one. Stoke are a good team at this level and we'll lose if we're not at our best. We know their keeper is a talented lad and they have fire power - Dwight Gayle is lethal at this level and Delap could be brilliant. I'll be happy enough with a draw, but all 3 points would be fantastic.

Anyone know if they are likely to fill their ground? If not might try to get in the home end unless anyone has a spare ticket?

I think we might lose this one. A bit Sapped after Wednesdays exertions and thin in the ground. Be interesting to see if he sets us up differently but I think they will come out firing and we come unstuck

I know, bit of a miserable bastard tonight. Work fatigue kicking in as my first two week holiday in years about to start… maybe I feel more positive tomorrow

I'm surprised anyone goes to watch them ...

... the most relentlessly dreary side in the league.

It's a dreadful place to go as well.

It's a horrible ground stuck in a field outside of a tawdry town full of the living dead.

Clarke and Stewart after going a goal down ...

    ... Ha’way the Lads!!!

Im not going to predict an away win on the poll as I strongly believe I am a jinx on things like that but after listening to a couple of Stoke people on various podcasts I am pretty confident as they are supposed to be really shaky at the back and I can see us getting 2 or 3 goals again. Just a case of can we keep them down to 1. Lots on young Patterson's shoulders today, as fantastic a shot stopper as he is, they will know they will have a chance on crosses and corners.

If Patterson carries on the way he finished the game at Sheffield, he'll be fine. Towards the end of the game he was coming out and claiming everything.

Agreed. He’d also made a couple of good saves before that so that may have made a difference and given him confidence

I'll be a lot happier if Evans and Batth are both fit. I would prefer Matete to replace the suspended Neil. Could be a high scoring game, as their defence is suspect, as is ours and both strike forces are very useful. Hope we can nick it, but head says 2-2.
