If we're giants now, we can always generate a bit of extra income as half time entertainment. Every cloud and all that.
I think Terry is still looking up not down....the big worry is that he may soon be looking up for a top 21 position.
I'm sorry but a manager who watches week in week out appalling displays .. an ability to tackle pass or compete .. and still thinks that he has the players to play a system that IS NOT working is either naive or stupid .. play a system that suits what you have available ya muppet .. admit mistakes .. and make us hard to beat until the confidence starts lifting again .. at present we are far to easy to pass the ball through .. the system he plays allows far too much room for the opposition with the personel he has at his own disposal. Personel brought in by him !
Stoke captain Ryan Shawcross and winger James McClean are close to returning from injury but are not yet quite fit enough to feature. Liam Lindsay could play for the first time since January after a lay-off. Hull hope to have forward Keane Lewis-Potter back after he missed their past three games with a hamstring problem. But Jordy de Wijs, Reece Burke, Jon Toral, Eric Lichaj, Herbie Kane, Tom Eaves, James Scott and Josh Bowler all remain sidelined. Defender Angus MacDonald was set to make his first Tigers appearance in 18 months on Friday for their Under-23 side, after being given the all-clear from bowel cancer in January. Match facts Stoke have won their past five home league games against Hull City, conceding only once in that run of wins. Hull are looking to complete a league double over Stoke for the first time, in what is the 32nd Football League season they've faced. Stoke have lost just one of their past eight home league games (W5 D2), having lost six of their previous eight home games before this run. Hull are winless in 11 games in all competitions (D2 L9), conceding 26 goals across this run including four or more in three separate games. Since Michael O'Neill's first home Championship match in charge of Stoke in November, only Derby (seven) have conceded fewer home goals than the Potters (eight). Hull have won none of the seven league games that haven't featured the now-departed Jarrod Bowen this season (D2 L5). The Tigers' last Championship win without Bowen featuring was back in April 2018 against Burton Albion. Interesting stat about O’Neill. Made them hard to beat at home!!
Kinnel... David Burns @bbcburnsy Remarkable stat from the @BBCSport stattos.... @HullCity haven't won a Championship game without Jarrod Bowen in the side since April 2018 at Burton!
It turns out this is a fairly meaningless stat, as he's played in all of our games from then until he left, other than the 5-5 draw with Bristol City in 2018.
Its beyond belief that McCann is still here. The overall sentiment on these boards and elsewhere is that McCann is out of his depth. When you employ and up and coming manager not all of them are going to turn out as another Pep or Klopp. Ehab rolled the dice now he shouild recognize that this time he got no pair of sixes so now is the time to change before its too late.
I guess it was something to do with a run of 7 games without a win (apparently - so someone on here mentioned recently). Worrying eh?
I think it's already too late to get someone else in, that's why he's still here. I don't think much of him so far but I think he's our best shot at survival.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43193015 losing 7 on the trot and a deterioration in quality - no **** - his way didn't work at Peterborough and it isn't working here
They probably daren’t sack him after selling his best two players at the end of January, he’d probably take them to a tribunal for constructive dismissal, and win! The total ****s them!
According to Wikipedia, he wasn't that long at Donny Doncaster Rovers Played 59 Won 27 Drawn 14 Lost 18 Win % 45.8 Hull City Played 40 Won 13 Drawn 9 Lost 18 Win% 32.5 (Up to 29th Feb 2020) Probably not long enough to be found out I hope he turns it around (but am not confident of it)
