All for em myself, can't remember any teacher ones in my time though or nurses for that matter, who's next? police and fire brigade? Greggs workers? The tube ones **** with me sometimes but hey ho.... **** da man innit. Better than getting paid **** all an hour for whatever you do. @Treble you striking bruv?
Can't say I know the full details but some people working on the rail get paid big money but they also work **** hours. A general strike would be crazy.
If they strike, we might as well all strike to get the pay rises we want in line with inflation. **** em
I’ll make sure I’ll get my moneys worth when I’m next on the train. Take a **** in the aisle for starters
That just means some poor cleaner has to do her job Bit ****y imo And yeh I said her and cleaner what.
I suppose, maybe I’ll ask to sit on the drivers lap seeing as he gets paid over £50k to push some buttons
My son works for Network Rail, and it’s not bad money, but you have to remember that it’s almost permanent nights, includes weekends and holidays and out in all weathers without the luxury of rest rooms, toilets etc. Most of the public wouldn’t want it as a job tbh. He didn’t vote to strike btw…
Whats the cons? You pay a membership? They protect your Interests over your employer? Im just askin cos i dont know how it goes union's and that
I generally think most people that work for network rail don’t give a ****. It will be their union reps beating the drum
Pay for a membership. But european (not any more) law protects my rights. All they do now is push for bigger pay rises, and generally delay pay rises for months as they argue for more
I’m not militant and have never striked, but you can thank the unions for the working conditions we take for granted.
Is that what train drivers are paid? I dont think that's excessive at all. I just heard the average nurse is on 30k Why the **** would anyone want to be a nurse you get the same in ****in sainsburys I think we should all be paid more. Its not like there's no money mate it's everywhere, loads of it too. Maybe just the wrong people have it.
But that’s the past, and we’re talking decades gone by. There’s now decent laws protecting our rights, and they’re really not relevant now. But that’s my opinion.
