This morning Huddersfield released a club statement regarding the future of Stuart Webber . Full statement on link below http://www.htafc.com/news/article/2...bber-club-statement-garden-leave-3648901.aspx Let's hope the 2 clubs can get a deal sorted out asap and he does for us what he did for Huddersfield
Rosler's recent interview sounded to me like it was directed straight at the Norwich HC job. But we don't even have a SD yet, so it's all guesswork for now.
Let's be realistic, while Fleetwood are jostling for an automatic promotion place, he's not going anywhere till this season is finished.
So Huddersfield have told Delia and co to 'up the stakes' - http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/norwic...r_huddersfield_town_s_stuart_webber_1_4955443 I find this paragraph very disconcerting - "City head to Huddersfield next week in the Championship and the club’s top brass want a new sporting director and head coach in place by the start of a make-or-break summer for the Canaries." And if anything, I find this one even MORE disconcerting - "Alan Irvine is poised to take charge of Norwich’s Championship trip to Aston Villa on Saturday as he continues in interim control, following Neil’s recent dismissal. The Scot has guided City to within five points of the play-off places and now looks increasingly likely to stay in charge until the end of the season." I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping that our SD and HC would BOTH be in place either now or in the next couple of weeks, so that they could assess who really needs to go in our 'summer clearout', but that clearly looks unlikely to happen. Strange how Ed (twinkletoes) Balls has gone extremely quiet in recent days!!!
Now you mention it General - I guess not. I got conned when EB spoke a couple of weeks ago and said, "There will be an announcement in the next few days!!!"
I don't particularly want Irvine in the job long term but if he does win against Villa it's going to be hard to sack him isn't it? We still have a very faint chance of making the playoffs, granted it would be a miracle but if he wins this week it's going to be hard to get rid isn't it?
Not really, he has publicly stated he doesnt want the HC role, Easy for any hardnosed and competent board to move him on! Bah!
So, in other words - the job's definitely his and he's on record as saying, "I've never applied for any job!!!"
