I think a big chunk of pennies will go on Kieffer Moore, and pretty soon if reports are correct. Need to offload some to raise cash, probably Etheridge and Day with the Charlton keeper in on a free, Flint, Murphy and maybe Ward won't be offered a new contract although he offers a plan B. I think most of us would like to see Pack leave as well but probably unlikely. The other question is will Glatzel stay and maybe learn from Moore or do we cash in?
https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/cardiff-city-move-re-sign-18703202 He was really starting to look the part but we all saw his confidence buckle after being done by Mitrovic for that penalty. But is he the experienced RB we need? Will Harris look for a Peltier (whom I think is now a PL footballer but without kicking a ball for WBA?) or Sanderson, or both as you need cover. The Bacuna experiment need not have to be repeated. And as for LB, is Brad Smith signed or was it just a loan extension? Think it was the latter.
Yes, the latter. Only played a bit part and we have Joe, Cunningham and the youngster Bagan. One position where no cover needed. As I said, if Sanderson comes back we still need an experienced rb.
If Moore is the striker, and I think Id rather see ward before him, other than the unquestionable RBs, a No 10 to cover Tomlin is a must. Wont be far off then.
Read that one of our so called starlets Cameron Cox has joined Solihull Moors Watched a little bit of the conference final and our loan player Joe Bagan didn’t look too shabby. (Ben Turner also played)
Solihull Moors? Feeder club for Man City? Isn't Neil Ardley manager at Notts County? I recall him saying Bagan had done well there and was keen to learn. If we have both Bennett and Cunningham next season another year on loan (with a recall option) won't do Bagan any harm.
Harry Wilson supposedly available for transfer. Not sure we could afford an outright purchase but would happily see him come in and Murphy go TBH. Nothing against Murphy but he's just never seemed to settle. Interestingly I think his brother has been shipped out on loan a few times too hasn't he? Maybe they both miss the country air of Norwich????
Tan has been pondering his options. Making this signing would put beyond doubt what they are. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/vincent-tan-cardiff-city-crossroads-18695485
