If there is three it's an old Ken Dodd joke, and don't believe a word! Chickens only have 2... You heard it here last..
Lemina probably wants to be in London. Not sure he's ever met Ralph. Or maybe he did, smelt the hard work and ran off.
Lemina is one of those incredibly annoying people that will never fully fulfil his potential. He could be one of the best, but will settle for a decent wage and a mediocre career. A case where he has been given a talent, a real talent, but just won't use it. If I was to describe him I would say that the world is his oyster, only he doesn't like oysters...
He's the bad side of that quote that Adkins loved to use. Hard work beats talent if talent doesn't try hard. Many footballers with far less talent then Lemina have had successful careers through determination, grit and hard work. Lemina uses about 10% of his talent. He just doesn't care enough to put in the effor that his talent deserves. It's a shame, but I doubt he cares because he's rich by doing the bare minimum and that seems to suit him.
You could argue he has played it perfectly, became a multi millionaire putting in the absolute minimum amount of effort, so therefore has used his talent brilliantly.
Agree. I think we will rue the decision to get both Lemina and Reed out. Personal opinion is they are two very good mids and we wont replace them with equal quality.
Horses for courses, could see Lemina doing well somewhere like Fulham where he could be the star and have other players doing a lot of the donkey work for him. Don’t think it’s just a managers personality that gets the player playing, it’s their style of play as well and I can’t see Lemina suiting the all action run around press Ralph employs
People are seriously overrating Reed. He's a solid Championship player at best. Not good enough for us.
Chilwell gone to Chelsea for £45m. Leicester are basically doing what we did, back when we did it well.
He should go to Leeds, Lemina said of Bielsa: “”When you know the man, it really gives you the desire to give your all.”
Surprised to see Fulham in for Lemina to be honest. I guess there's a manager every now and then who looks at his raw ability and thinks 'i could get lucky here' - but then he'll slowly realise that no, he's not really up to it. Yes, he has amazing technical ability - he is easily our best midfielder in technical terms, pace, power etc. It's crazy that we're talking of letting him go. But....he has no application, he struggles with consistency, he picks up 'injuries' and lacks motivation to perform. He is the most non-team player you could ever find, it's all about him and it's a struggle to find any consistency as a team when he's part of it. He's floated around all sorts of clubs because of this. Managers see his technical ability and feel they can get something out of him, but his age old issue of application will continue to crop up. He's quite simply flawed and is an incredible waste of talent.
