    We threatened to beat the little fascist up if he didn't tell but as none of us are fit enough to beat an egg these days he just laughed and said watch this space.     Cavani is off to Benfica with Vertonghen apparently. David Silva is going to Lazio.

    Hadn't heard anything about Thiago Silva to Everton before you mentioned it, but I think he's past his best now at 35. Not sure they should be signing that type of player on big money.

    If we get him then this will be the most significant transfer window since Ron first came here. I've always thought that if we can nail down the defence and cut down the soft goals conceded we will win a lot more matches.

    Going from what I have read/heard about him then agreed. An experienced head at the back for the first time since Fonte left.

    Sort a Hojbjerg replacement and cut the deadwood and we will be ready to go imo
