    agreed.

“The Manager has said I’ll be back up to whoever they bring in, which I respect. I’ll still fight for my place and do the best I can to get in the team - that is what I have done throughout my career. It’s a different role for me now though and any signing that comes in, I will help, even if they play in my position.”

Yeah I know our hands were tied - I wouldn’t let him anywhere near the bench even

Watson started half our games last season, and was on the subs' bench for almost every other game unless injured or suspended.
He came on as a sub 5 times too. So featured in almost 30 of our 46 league games.

If that happens again this season it will be a clear sign that we've not made any progress at all.

Are we still expecting a signing Dick, or were they the contract announcements?

I don’t think anything is imminent. One of the players Jordan Graham has gone to Birmingham. I think the other player is the Wigan lad who will probably go to Sunderland.

We seem to be finding it difficult to get deals over the line. The players were back in training today. They could only play five a side games.

Isn't this what Ged Roddy was recruited for?

We seem to be in for the same players as a lot of other Clubs including Championship Clubs. We need some players in before we go to the training camp but nothing seems to be on the horizon.

Amos is joining Wigan. Our first team squad amounts to 11/12 players.

When he left, some forum members from various quarters were putting him down and painting him as useless (and worse).
Bowyer has his faults for sure - and perhaps he's learned from them - but the man isn't a fool.
