Can't wait mate, all packed and got the cash changed today. Get me on that plane. Just looked at the weather and it's getting up to 38 on Saturday and Sunday then back down to 32/33 the rest of the days.
I had a meal in the Foulsyke a month ago whilst visiting my deceased Brothers wife who lives in Scalby. It was an evening meal and delicious. Hope you had a few pints in the Nags as well.
Got a few questions for the regular flight travellers on here. Going Cyprus for 5 nights next week with mates. Haven't flown for over 15 years. Obviously things have changed a bit since then. Just got cabin luggage up to 10kg, no check in baggage. Can I take any toiletries with me as long as they're under 100ml and store them all in a sealed plastic bag? Are there any toiletries you can't take? Also not having a little bag to put under the seat so are you ok to have phone, keys, lighter, wallet etc in your pockets like normal? Or do they have to be packed away? Cheers.
6am flight from Ponteland tomorrow. Should be by the pool (or more importantly - the pool bar) by 2pm Out of Office message is going on in 33 mins
You should be OK, I had wallet, keys, phone all on my person. I don't smoke so haven't got a lighter but the lass at the check in desk when we checked in our cases held a card up and it said vapes and lighters needed to be stored on person not in any bags.
Haha, class so far. Early days but lovely hotel. 36 degrees today. Hitting 40 at the weekend. Got a couple of trips booked and sorting the cabanas out later on.
Good stuff !! Enjoy mate, sounds like the weather is still great. Enjoy them Cabanas we had a class day from what I can remember
Motorhome flew through its MOT this morning, so off up to New England Bay, nr. Drummore/Ardwell, Dumfries & Galloway, next Saturday for 3 nights.
Recently had our 2nd holiday of the year for an activities week at Derwent Hill in the Lake District. Absolutely fabulous time, although I can’t do some of the more extreme activities these days.
So do i mate, D&G is a stunning part of Scotland. Had a static at Brighouse Bay nr. Kirkcudbright for 5 years, but sold it last year and bought a small motorhome.
My neighbour has just done two weeks in the motorhome around Scotland. I know they went to Inverness and Kirkcaldy, not sure where else. Beautiful country, but I've been there when they're gearing up for independence and I wasnt made to feel welcome then. Shame
