I see that Freddie Ladapo has left Rotherham and gone to Ipswich on a free.....might be the missing link that they need.

    SUMMER NEWS.......

The England team are crap. Sat through the versus Hungary match and we never looked like scoring once. Tired and jaded from the start. However, it was never a penalty either.

Not particularly a strong team either....temperature rather high for a knackered team at the end of a long season to press for long against a load of average Hungarians.....got to play Germany away mid-week.

I might just resist the urge to watch that. I'm not that desperate for football that I could do another 90+ minutes of that garbage.

Watched the end of the Wales v Ukraine game this afternoon. How to become the most hated National side in the World in one easy move. Have to say that some of the falling down in the last 15 minutes of play was quite comical.

Talking of that, falling down that is, I also watched some of the match between Grimsby and Solihul Motors. If diving was a points gatherer then both sides would have wracked up a shed load by the end. After Grimsby had scored they went into dive overdrive. Some of them would have been right at home in a Farce or slap-stick play. It really is becoming bad now.

FIFA are apparently not going to look into the booing that took place when England "took the knee" before kick-off.

Hungary are already suppose to be playing behind closed doors because of racism issues.....yet a loop hole in FIFA's rules allowed 40,000 under 14's and their minders to attend the game and boo and hiss England players who were demonstrating their anti racism views.

This of course is the same FIFA that "sorted out" it's little problem with "brown envelopes....cough...cough" to grease the smooth running of world football under that little Swiss gnome who was eventually prised out of the top job.

Isn't there any camera security linked to the local police HQ,,,,,surely breaking in should have triggered some form of security alarm.....the alternative of 24/7 security would be too costly for a Club of Argyle's size.....how much would night security cost ?

I see that some one has toted up the mileage to be covered this coming season.....only 11,092 miles...compared with 12,268 miles last season.....a reduction of 1,176 miles.

Devon derby plus other nearer games this coming season.....and of course the Sunderland trip has now gone.

For me this coming season only the Charlton game around the London area.

Difficult to agree or disagree with this list.....who can tell before you know the strengths or weaknesses of each squad.

I expect Ipswich, Sheffield W, Derby, MK Dons, Wycombe W could be in the mix.

Hard to tell how Argyle might perform....will Camara, Cooper, Hardie, Grant and Edwards be here or some move on.....and will we strengthen the squad with new signings.

Quick lesson on betting. 11/2 on means that you put 11 on to win 2. The reality is they are all "against" and not "on". 11/2 against means you put 2 on to win 11. Anyway although favourites win there is no way anyone can guess who will or will not perform over a 46 game season. It's just the bookies starting off the idea of a bet to attract people in. In the end it is the punters who will decide the odds by how much they bet and how often it is on the same team. Money decides odds in the end.

I've watched some of the Germany game and have now switched off because it is crap or rather England are. Again.
