The Black Cats have been desperate for midfield reinforcements this window after a series of injuries left Sunderland short. N’Dong, 22, would provide fresh blood to the squad, and is a raw talent. The Gabonese international has caught the eye of many European clubs this season after helping solidify Lorient’s midfield, but it is Sunderland who appear to have won the race for the youngster. N’Dong provides a potential outlet for initiating counter-attacks, given his high rate of tackles and interceptions per game, and the further addition of a strong and more attacking midfielder could be the way forward for the Black Cats. N’Dong only joined Lorient last summer, and was a huge part of their side last season, scoring two goals in 46 games. Should N’Dong join Sunderland, then he will link up with former teammate Lamine Kone on Wearside. Sunderland missed out on their primary target Vicente Iborra this morning but have moved swiftly to get N’Doye, and with only a single day left of the transfer window, you can expect the Black Cats to remain busy. please log in to view this image
He'll be here to link back up with Kone, man. As crazy as it sounds, or I sound, his write-up suggests he'd be a great fit for what we need in midfield.
Should be good in the box and useful in tight spaces. You'd like to think he can find some openings and penetrate the opposition. Hopefully he can fill some gaps... Ahem.

The French centre-back was hoping to stay at Anfield and fight for a place in Jurgen Klopp’s defence this season, but after being told that he would be unlikely to play much he has decided to make the temporary switch. There has also been a change of heart from Sunderland boss David Moyes, who spurned the opportunity to sign the former Paris Saint Germain defender last week. A series of behavioural issues have seen Klopp become increasingly less confident in Sakho and the German has decided to give him the chance to prove his professionalism with a spell away from Anfield. please log in to view this image Klopp set to let seven players leave before deadline please log in to view this image Liverpool made favourites to sign Hart please log in to view this image Alberto set for Lazio move Premier League clubs Stoke City and West Brom had both also moved for Sakho, but it has been agreed that he will move to the Stadium of Light in order to gain regular game time this season. Sakho was banned for a failed drugs test at the back end of last season and has not featured for the first-team since the 4-0 win over Everton back in April. He is likely to become a regular in Sunderland’s defence as they fight against relegation.
Sevilla have signed Sami Nasri on loan. Will the Iborra deal be resurrected or have they already let somebody go.
