Good I'm glad, again...not quite sure how I'm going to survive knowing that some randomers on a football forum who I don't know...don't believe me and think I'm full of ****! I suppose the fact that pretty much every transfer so far this summer I've called and said it would be happening within a few hours of it being announced is just pure luck every time...I should probably buy a lottery ticket!
I think we’re in trouble if either of them start against Preston. Smallwood’s just not good enough and Huddlestone hasn’t played competitively football for over a year.
Well, if you regard logic as 'full of ****e' and favour un-supported statements and personal digs from an assumed positon of authority, then i know a few on here and who read this site who'd take howden more seriously than you.
Matt Smith would be a more likely one. Spent last year at Donny & did well by all accounts. To make **** confusing, Donny have signed another Matt Smith this season, but this one's from Arsenal.
Mock away, my fragile mental health should be ok and if it isn't then I'm sure I can find a capable therapist who can help me get over a nobody saying mean things online
Yeah I did put fitness dependant, Tom’s fitness will improve. Depending on the cb situation start Alfie in midfield and see how we go from there
I'm glad, it drives me on to make up more ITK rubbish when I know people are waiting with baited breath.... Makes me all fuzzy inside
We'll soon see. Baz from HDM reckons Scott is going on a permanent deal. Not sure how that would work to St Mirren and I couldn't see Ehab sanctioning that departure as I'd assume it would have to be on a free
So, if Scott goes to St Mirren in the next few days but not on loan then we all know howden is full of ****e.... FACT
Although, they're managed by Jim Goodwin and him and Grant were both at Scunny together for a brief period (wiki) and they did a cracking job with McLoughlin. I'm just not sure how they could afford him permanently
Doesnt sound like ehab to write off £1m transfer fee without seeing a decent chunk of that back. Wonder if they've been bought by a Turkish bloke?
I was thinking more wages but that too! St Mirren are one of the smaller SPL clubs, and the smaller SPL clubs usually have a bottom end L1/top half L2 wage bill. Scott will be back on his Championship wage after our promotion and whilst I doubt he's on a lot in Championship terms I can't see them being able to stretch to it. I'm not sure what gov help the Scottish clubs received but we're probably all as skint as each other. If Scott does leave on loan, it's surely a sign that we've sorted something out with the EFL or paid back the grant. I'm hoping we do as we could do with a bit of experience at the back.
If it a permanent then I'll happily admit I was wrong. I can't see how st mirren could afford it. Or why Scott would want to leave on a much much much lower wages then he is on here....unless there is a payoff in the background perhaps! But hey what do I know....I just make it up as I go along
