Keen maybe be overstating it ATM(unless things have changed), but he's an option that's for sure.

A very very good young keeper though

Would we be obliged to start him ahead of Ingram?

It will all depend on the loan contract and promises made etc. A keeper at that age coming in, I personally wouldn't see us guaranteeing a start. Especially with how well Ingram did last season.

I agree. Ingram did very well last season and thoroughly deserves to be the number one.

He knew he wasn't automatic first choice if he stayed - which is why we didnt take the option in the first place.

Would he rather be first choice at luton and lauded as a marguee signing close to home, or sign for the same money as Greaves and Jones with no guarantee of a start... ?

The move is best for all parties.

.... And don't discount the fact that Luton media will be overplaying the Burke signing to deflect the negative reaction when we took Moncur.

I'd be very surprised if we sold him, I hope it's more likely a loan. But as you say, Nixon is usually not far off the mark which is a worry. However, stating Ex Hull City then he hasn't got all his facts right.

Reece Burke - In talks over new deal
George Long - In talks over new deal

Not that it matters that much in the scheme of things!

City had a bid accepted by Sheffield United for Regan Slater at the start of the summer. The move is on hold as he is yet to speak with their new boss Slavisa Jokanovic about his future (HDM)

None of our signings this season are going to blow anyone's socks off, but if people have realistic expectations and understanding of what kind of player the gaffer wants in, then they will see they are good signings that improve us
