Think he’d be excellent left side of a 3 at the back in a side that play out from the back, darling replacement at mk perhaps?

Ballard would be a top, top signing hope there’s legs in this.

Him and Dion would be a real pairing.

Aye surprised Everton might loan him out for a fair few minutes last season and didn’t look out of his depth at all.

If we can get permanent deals done be great, absolutely not against loans from the PL though. Everton will have seen how well treat and received Broady was.

I mean far as I know nowt to suggest we after Sanderson anyway we just all know he’s good enough.

Marcus Maddison gone to Darlington. The Echo saying he was once a target of ours. Wasn't it the other way round - Sunderland was a target for him?

People (myself included) used to go mad for him every summer, hope he’s over his issues and manages to get the most out of what’s left of his career

I think we looked at signing him but the verdict was that he didn't have the right mentality. Maybe around Coleman's time can't remember.

I know a former teammate of his and we absolutely weren’t in for him.

I do hope the lad is happy and gets back to enjoying his football.

Going to disagree with you there. But only because you used “top, top”!!

Wonder how many of the world’s greatest mountain climbers have reached the top of Everest. And how many went that step further to the top top!!!!

Soz mate, just a term that does my head in! But he’d be a quality signing I agree!!!

Just as the govt moves to put new restrictions on, on-line gambling, we have one as a shirt sponsor.

    Trust they are paying plenty.

I have looked but there’s been no info at all about what the powers that be have planned for him.

Sunderland fans have a far better insight than me into whether a step up to the Championship would be a step too far for a lad of his age but personally I’d love it if he stayed with you and made a contribution.

Probably needs another year of playing regular competitive football before the Championship... imho like

Nevertheless a good player, if he develops quickly City may want to hang onto him. He may well end up a Premiership player, but as a CB not yet. Paradoxically strikers or wingers can sometimes make a breakthrough earlier. If you miss a goal... not a problem but if you give a goal away!!!!

    @SAFC Wilks

When I commented previously on this post about RTG having its fair share of knackers.. that Rapscalion you’re in discussion with is a prime example.
