Nah you got it wrong bro, none of your spending matters unless you buy trophies that season. So if you spend another 500m this summer and win anything next season, that's when i come in I reckon youre still a bit pissed because no one respects anything you achieve, sorry bro but that wont ever change. You have to be the most disrespected cl winners in history. And rightly so
Dosghit end to the season for him tbh, carlo sneaking off in the night to madrid completely rattled the #peasants. Poor peejs emotions rest on England now. He must like misery
Have to say I think it’ll be a poor purchase if we buy him. He’s not good enough, I’d sooner have Ramos in for a year or two for the experience. Pau Torres for me, or Varane if we can afford him.
Personally i think hes a better cb than maguire no wum. Ramos would work in short spells and cl games but week in week out, im Not so sure at his age. Cant complain on a freebie tho. If you're doing 80m on Sancho i doubt youd then go do near enough that again (or more) on a cb tbh which is what varane or torres would cost im guessing.. but stranger things have happened.
Pep Guardiola: "people who say our success is because of money have made a big f*uckin mistake" Meanwhile....
He’s not better than Maguire, not even close. I didn’t really care for Maguire tbh, but his absence for us was as big as Van Dijk’s for you, albeit only for a few weeks. Soyuncu is decent technically, as is Fofana but neither are ready to be leading a team with PL/CL ambitions and if that’s not the objective then we might as well stick with Vic n Eric. Joel Glazer has said we’re in a good position to spend, plus I think we’ll sell a couple this summer, namely Lingard, Dalot, and possibly one of the GK’s so £75m on Sancho, probs £50-60m on a centre half and perhaps another £20m on Trippier.
I’ve got a feeling Trippier could be a straight swap for Telles tbh. With Trippier offering competition to both full backs.
