Cheltenham 13,50 Discorama 4/1 He might run to lower his mark for the Grand National but it is also possible that this year he still does not want to run at Aintree.
Two of my early bets for Cheltenham run tomorrow at Punchestown. Elimay 2/1 (1.05) and Hollow Games 4/6 (16.00). Maybe a double for fun.
Two for me tomorrow at Punchestown. Bois De Clamart 9/1 - 12.05 Jason The Militant - 16/1 - 2.05 BDC is in great form at the moment and Sean O'Keefe on board catches the eye, could well be able to capitalise in this open looking handicap. JTM is going to need to improve to beat Saint Roi here, but, he has some smart hurdle form in the book and he may be there to pick up the pieces if things don't go as planned for the main market leaders. Speculate to accumulate. All the best.
Cheltenham (Updated: 06:21, 15th Nov) Sun 15 Nov Going/Track: Chase course Soft Hurdle course Soft, heavy in places. Weather: 7mm overnight, heavy showers through the day, 12C.
Cheltenham 15,00 Sir Psycho 10/1 e/w Skybet six places. Others 11-12/1 three-four-five places. Punchestown 15,25 Charlie Siringo 3/1
Just when you think you’ve got a cracking race on your hands the ****ing weather ruins it expect Cheltenham to be close to unraceable by the time of the Shloer Chase. I fancy the mare in the prevailing conditions but would have loved to have seen them bombing round on good-soft
Morning...two bets today: Cheltenham 1.50pm Ramses de Teillee 7/1 each way. Cheltenham 3.00pm Ballyandy 8/1 each way 5 places. He might have top weight but he will enjoy conditions, his recent 2nd to Sceau Royal reads well and he generally runs well at Cheltenham. I think he will run a massive race. Good luck all!
Two at Punchestown: 12:05 - Burning Ambition 20/1 (4 places) 3:25 - Owenacurra Lass 12/1 Ew singles and Ew double
Sharp showers predicted this morning.. it might brighten up in afternoon according to forecast before showers return late afternoon.. so don't think if will be near waterlogging conditions. It will be very testing but then it is November.. We are around 9 miles from the course and we had a very heavy and squally shower just which lasted around 20 mins...but it's not raining now..
I suppose so, I just prefer watching jumping at speed to the slow motion stuff. Still, I am really looking forward to Saint Roi today.
Just noticed Rouge Vif is a non-runner so the race is cutting up already. I suppose the other 4 will stand their ground though - all proven with plenty of cut.
the festival was on soft ground, it’s not as if it’s Chepstow heavy ground. I prefer it when they declare at 24 hour stage and this is why, Greatwood has cut up more and other races likely to go same way. They knew yesterday morning that this was going to happen but all had to declare on Friday. jumps racing with 48hr declarations is bad for punters.
Little Yankee for me at Cheltenham. 1.50 Captain Drake 2.25 Defi 3.35 Fidelio Vallis 4.05 Weseekhimhere Have a good Sunday fellas. All the best with yours
Upon further inspection, I have also backed the Paul Nicholls runner Fidelio Vallis 9/2 to win supreme trial at Cheltenham. Ground more suitable today, Mrs Hyde broke a track record to beat him lto and that was on what appeared unsuitable ground to my eyes as well. Skelton is a flat track bully and I think his favourite is vulnerable to this Nicholls runner. Perhaps a case of who has given the better wind operation Defi Du Seuil ought to be winning today against that field too, I would be very surprised if he can't take care of them.
