Allegorie De Vassy hacks up at 1/8fav in the opener at Navan but that only tells parts of the story. She jumped violently right at the first fence and only an incredible sit by Paul Townend kept the partnership intact. She continued to jump right throughout the race and was very chancey at a couple. I wouldn't be rushing to back her for Cheltenham.

Chacun Pour Soi against Fakir d'Oudairies is a fair old race for a quiet Sunday in January. Fakir for me

A lucky winner Fakir d'O but you have to jump them.

Surely time to draw stumps with Chacun Pour Soi?

Stumptown won the next Oddy, was that subliminal tipping there on your part <laugh>

He travelled well for most of it just doesn't have the legs, I wonder will they try up him in trip again to 3 miles?

Slim pickings for NH fans in recent days and not much positivity on the immediate horizon either. I’ll risk a little ew on Coastal Tiep ew at 16/1 in the lucky last at Thurles. Billaway seems to need his first run of the season to tune up and CT has a bit of form behind the Festival Foxhunters fav would give him a squeak.

I am suprised no one put up glen buck at 5s ran green but what a background . One for all your note books . Sire lope de vega 2x g1 wins sired by shamadal multiple g1 winner , and then on the dam side pecking order was sired by fastnet rock who was sired dy non other than danehill .
Varian could well have a very good 4yr old who carried the kitchen sink as well today .
Another to look out for could be the pace setter today in eccles street 8f looks too far but 6f should be spot on .

Well Billaway needed his first run but Coastal Tiep nowhere near the front 2 in 3rd.
