    3. Rory O Carroll (Dublin)
    4. Keith Higgins (Mayo)
    5. Lee Keegan (Mayo)
    6. Cian O Sullivan (Dublin)
    7. Colm Boyle (Mayo)
    8. Aiden O Shea (Mayo)
    9. Michael Dara MacAuley (Dublin)
    10. Paul Flynn (Dublin)
    11. Colm Cooper (Kerry)
    12. Sean Cavanagh (Tyrone)
    13. James O'Donoghue (Kerry)
    14. Bernard Brogan (Dublin)
    15. Cillian O'Connor (Mayo)

Footballer of the year. Michael Dara MacAuley (Dublin)

    Thoughts?

I think Higgins and Cavanagh should be in the team but im not sure about their positions in this team. Cavanagh for me is the best mid-fielder in the country and Higgins has been playing in the forwards all year. Footballer of the year is a strange one I don't think MacAuley deserves it and I have no idea who should get it.

I pretty much agree with it. If Mayo had won, there would be a call to give poty to Aidan O'Shea. Even though Seami has been the standout for the last 2 games.

It isn't unheard of for the Poty not to come from the National League and All Ireland winners.... I fact in 2010 The National league and All Ireland winners only merited 4 all stars.

I was surprised how few Cork got that year, I think the players should have some say or vote for the All Stars and after every game they could vote for who they think was the best player on the opposition team and whoever gets the most votes wins player or the year.
