Latest Odds.... 1/10 Phillips 1/10 Harrison 1/8 Bamford 1/2 Ayling 20/1 Kiko 20/1 Dallas 33/1 White 50/1 Costa 100/1 Klich 100/1 Berardi 100/1 Costa 150/1 Pablo 200/1 Nketiah 250/1 Alioski
When Dallas blazed over, when he should have least got it on target, it was Phillips' fault for passing with his left instead of right. When Costa kept over hitting his crosses, that was Phillips' fault for not cleaning his studs more often on a slippy pitch. When Pablo tried to split the defence with hopeful balls on more than one occasion, when a simple ball to a player in space was a better option, that was Phillips' fault for not speaking fluent Spanish. When Klich kept passing it to Costa instead of Ayling, who was better placed, that was Phillips' fault for running around on his tippy toes. When Costa left his man in acres of space for their second goal, that was Phillips' fault for farting out rule Britannia in the dressing room at half time. Only one person to blame for this result.
Did he play. Didn't see him all game, they had a player sent off but we played with 10 all game until Alio came on.
They must be the odds on the player who makes the most backward and sidewards passing..............they bet on anything these days, don't they.
The way I see it is that there is a photo finish between White at 33/1 and the pre-race favourite Phillips at 1/10. It's all down to the stewards to make the call, it's clear that Ayling came in at an uncontested third, but who will take out the top prize?
