We've been through this stuff about the alternatives before, and I disagree with you. As for evidence about the new owners, I think you have to have look at his background compared Stewart Donald. As for the new set up, they are trying to implement a model similar to some of the most successful clubs in the world So there is evidence that this approach works. To expect instant changes is madness though. The playing staff at the club are still, with one or two exceptions, the same as under Parkinson.
Agree with that bit. He rotates the midfield, but nowhere else. He had 3 wide men on the bench yesterday, and only 1 'defender', McFadzean. Younger hasn't had a sniff. If he wants to persist with 2 up top because Wyke plays better in that system, then the person he's playing up there must get his fair share of goals. O'Brien is as prolific as Jozy was. Hawkes is banging them in, as Curry was before him, but they don't get a sniff. Diamond has come on recently and looked really dangerous, but doesn't get a start. There's a pattern emerging here, if anyone can see it. The new owner wants to build the club through it's Academy, yet youngsters are being regularly ignored for the same set of plodders who have consistently failed, or those who are clearly knackered and need a break. The side needs freshening up.
There are so many examples of instant change in football to suggest its madness, reflects on your outlook, why do you think KLD is any better prepared than SD, its all about decision making and we have no concrete evidence so far on KLD's capacity. I sincerely hope you are as right in this instance as you are so plainly wrong in another.
Your owner needs to be very careful allowing Johnson a free hand on signing new players. He was a kid in a sweet shop down here, 65 new signings in 4 seasons. BCFC, currently, are the worst side in the Championship. His 'pitch personality' and 'box entry' tripe fools daft rich owners. Hope yours isn't one of them.
In what instance am I wrong? Bringing the kids through? That's a matter of opinion and one in which I'm more inclined to trust that of the professionals that work with them every day. I think the fact that KLD has chosen to implement up to date approaches to running a football club demonstrates perfectly that his decision making is much better than Stewart Donald's or even Ellis Short's.
In my opinion now isnt the time to bring under 23s into the first team, not at the real business end of the season. Imagine if Younger had made the errors O'Nien had made. He'd be shot to pieces.
I appreciate your concerns, and respect your opinion, but my opinion is if they are deemed good enough to be at the club then put them in. We can't wrap them in cotton wool forever. Younger has played a few games this season, and has not looked out of place. Diamond has done well in fits and starts, but he's a winger and they can be a bit up and down. Youthful exuberance and a desire to carve out a future in the game will carry them through, as long as they are looked after by senior members of the team.
I would definitely think about playing Younger at the back on Saturday. Barring a massive miracle on behalf of the other teams we will be in the Playoffs, in which position I don't know. But rest Wright and play him (Younger) for the last two games.
I would definitely play Younger, but I think we need to get Wright up to speed, and that's only going to come with minutes on the pitch. Having Younger and Wright in there, gives us the option of playing 3 at the back alongside 09 or McLaughlin when he comes back, or playing a back four and moving 09 into midfield. Our midfield is crying out for someone with a bit of a spark, who can get on the end of crosses. 09 fits the bill for me.
Absolutely no chance LJ is dropping his best mate Scowen. He’s worse that Parkinson for the predictability of it.
