Kick in the guts for Embleton! Shame for the lad as he was just looking to get established and giving us another option
Cash turnstiles on the SEC tomorrow if anyone gets up in the morning decides they want to sit and freeze their bollocks off.
Need a win, just to get the feelgood factor going again, the FA cup is a bit special and avoiding any re-plays is all that matters, but after missing out on the Man City tie to Oxford, a plum tie next round ( non league club at the SoL ) would not do us any harm. And play as many of the kids as we can in the "other Cup".
I will be there and I want to see us do another Tranmere. About time we started thrashing teams on a regular basis.
Im duffing it, and I always go to the home games no matter what competition. Tuesday night made the decision for me. I will regret it tomorrow, but I really cannot see what I will miss as we as a team are awful. I went on Tue to see us do a 'Tranmere' on an u21 side and we could have lost 3 or 4 -1 with us putting a strong team out.
Well the second team might be. We weren't awful when we spanked Tranmere 5-0. I think you underestimated Leicester, as has been pointed out before in that youth team was a CB worth 13mil they aren't exactly a rag tag bunch of kids.
It's not about underestimating the opposition, it's about the way our players went about it. We have a new manager and we played the same boring side to side ****e that got Ross sacked. No matter how much of a hardened fan you are, you just cannot stick up for the ****e that was served on Tuesday. A line up that could actually start a league game, esp when the star subs came on and nowt changed. We got by last season as we had a bit of quality, but those have in the main left the club. We knew what sort of players we needed and we never signed any. The Tranmere game was good but those kind of games have been few and far between since we came down.
