The Hoff's was a decent save but nowt much more than a training exercise imo. It was important but I doubt it'll be remembered for too long, or a meringue?.
Was nowt special at all really, pretty much training ground stuff tbh. I would even expect Lee Camp to save them, well, maybe 1 out 5 times. We didn't play great, but didn't really need to....for all of Ipswich possession, they done **** all with it. That was the sum of their efforts...that really was all they could muster up.
Thought Ipswich were a class above until they entered our box... If they had a top forward they would walk this league
I think we let them have the ball in their own half. Probably too much but they weren’t desperate to score. Looked pretty happy with a draw. We looked a team on a bad run. Nervous about every pass (except Evans who looked calm on the ball… couldn’t pass for **** mind but hey ho! (Guaranteed if that’d been O’Nien he’d have his own thread about how badly he’d played and how much better Evans is) We defended better than we have for a long time. Thought Neil had an off day. His radar was off to what it normally is but, again, he’s a young lad so is bound to feel the pressure. Embleton seems to be a “45” man. Just seems to vanish after half time. Gets subbed every game just about (rightly imo). Thought some of our football for short bursts was good. But they were short, fleeting bursts and few and far between. Ipswich were ok but poor in the final third
