Cannon Ball Jones
At least there’s no Charlton
Anyone advocating new contracts for any of these lot in the summer wants their head examined.
Turgid game, typical SAFC concede a late ****e goal but at least the team have the character not to fold and our way back.a
So obvious we have come out to have a run about and not pick up any injuries.
I feel cheated out of £10
McGeady? O’Nien? Jones? Hume?. Gooch (on today’s showing)?
Amazingly its working out well for us, that's the positive and its a big one imo. OaU
I've been robbed £7
Well that game defined our season...
A 1-1 lack lustre draw....
Imho not a great match to help the push to win the play-offs
Ho hum.... fingers crossed for the next few games.
Only positive (possibly) is will that give Winchester confidence cos up to now he certainly hasnt convinced me he is the next level for us.
Hope you lot win the play offs
Straw clutching at its finest
Will 10,000 wake the team up ? i hope since the hull game we have been poor, too many passes and not enough shots. but Pompey and Charlton not there, Pompey will be kicking themselves they should have kept Jacket, the standard is not as good as 2 years ago either so we might do it.
cheers again RTB...
shame the team do not put in the same effort!!
hard to tell if we were as bad as them or them as bad as us...some 'trends' i have noted throughout the season, teams scoring with their first real attack of any note, for a team that had a very mean defence in the early games i find that hard to understand. (granted, injuries have hurt in that dept.) also, when we manage a good cross into the box it seems we have one man against 3 or 4 defenders yet when we have men free in the box the cross is almost always well over hit, we still give the ball away far too often.
i really hope this was just the team not wanting to overdo it and saving the 'real' tactics for the play offs, today really had me thinking there was going to be a prize for the worst passing team of the day, mcgeady had probably his worst half this season, why did gooch have to stick to the right side all the 2nd half, really reduces his affectiveness, midfield did an ok job i felt and onien is really throwing too many fouls around now to keep him at right back, wyke had no service at all jones should have scored when obrien laid it off for him...other than that it felt as if the players of both sides had any real interest as the result would change little in the grand scheme of things.
haway LJ get yer finger out nad get these lads tip top for the next 3 games.
