“It wasn’t a lack of effort and heart from the lads Eh we were absolutely woeful nee fight nee nowt Was he watching the same game as me
I think that this maybe the first battering we give a team. I'd like to say 4-0 but i think it will be 4-1.
Ah yes - but maybe he knows his team and knows that saying "We were ****e, no heart, no effort, nothing" may have a negative effect! You seem to have to pussy foot around the truth with a lot of pro footballers nowadays! You can;t just come out in the media and say "they were all ****e"
Hmmm PP just done a press conference... for Tranmere is it just me or is he like a rabbit caught in headlights?
3 0 for me as well before I read this thread. Stick it up the arse for those who've already turned on Parky
Thought he was calm, deliberate and covered well the issues on the pitch that have been glaringly obvious to us who have been watching us regularly. Spoke frankly and honestly. No hyperbole on show. Didn't see anything like a rabbit in the headlights.
Fair Dos, just my opinion like... Let's win a few games with new manager bounce...or is going to be dead cat bounce?
Hopefully the former mate. It's about time they started taking the game to the opposition. The players need to appreciate that this is the biggest club that they'll play for and show it on the pitch. It'll soon go downhill for them as they'll soon be replaced here if they don't.

As fans, no matter who we would have preferred to see in the hot seat, we've got to back the manager, until such time as it's obvious that he doesn't deserve our backing. After 1 days training and 90 minutes football, I think it's a way too early for people to be having a go at Parky. Looking forward to tomorrows match, and seeing what the atmosphere will be like. Hopeful bouncing after an investment announcement! Fancy 3-1 (still no faith in us keeping a clean sheet)
Absolutely. But that sad reality now is that the players hold the cards and the managers pay for their failings. I can't imagine Jack Ross told his players to miss easy chances or to allow centre forwards inordinate amounts of space in the box! I agree he had a lot to be blamed for, but in reality, if we'd taken the good chances we've had this season we'd probably be in the top 3 or 4!
I will always support the manager and players... But reserve the right to constructive criticism... ie they are ****e
I thought that. I also seen it with JR. I think the reality of the size of the club is hitting them once they get here and they become overawed. I kind of understand even more now after years of suffering why we succeeded under Reidy and Keane. They'd been there, done that. Neither were fazed and both set about dragging us up to their level.
