Me lad said before flippantly, "done better without him" Not convinced meself like but chuffed with this result. Roll on the next game. One of the fixtures i looked at start of season but unfortunately as usual im on bastad 12hr nights Same story with Tranmere away, Remember going last time we played them there in league, 98/99 ??? Fookinell we over ran the place if i remember right.
So just to co-ordinate the plan of action for the rest of the season: Those on here who don't go to the match, keep Chunk away from the Radio and TV Those of us who go to the games are on @janey watch, to make sure she doesn't enter the ground. Simples!
Think that was the Grand National weekend and they moved the match to the Friday night and didn't make it all ticket. I travelled down on the clubs official supporters coach and the driver got lost once he'd turned off the M6 then fessed up he didn't know where the ground was. We turned up 20 minutes after kick off and the lads were winning 2-0 we were listening to the match on radio Merseyside on the bus. When we got to the ground the police wouldn't let us in as the away end was over packed and they were concerned over fans safety, we were spitting feathers, some of us got in the home end before they could put a stop to it, we won the game 2-0 complete nightmare.
Bit late but GERRIN! Great first home game for Parky, we sounded proper class. Ha'way the three points and the sheet there mate. More of the same for Saturday please.
I have not seen enough of Kimpioka this season to have formed am opinion... he played a couple of times last season and seemed to enjoy running at defences..but too early to say atm I reckon. He may be having a not resigning contract row, I am led to believe which may limit his appearances. Pace in all sports, in rugby it scores tries, a fast bowler in cricket is a fearsome and match winning commodity, even in tennis fast hard hits usually top any other stroke. In football also, there is no answer to pace, which is rare talent in Sunderland's squad atm.
Yeah i think i remember something about late arrivals. Remember the steps and everywhere was heaving as they let way too many in
He stays out of the team for me...impact sub only. Thats the best we have played for a long while , without him in the picture..
I don't mind a **** ref if he's **** for both sides! That's my point - he was awful - allowed a lot of standard yellow cards for their players to go completely unpunished. Seen it far too much this season where the ref seems to have a "they think they're a big club" attitude - almost as if they're wanting to show off to their mates that they di x y or z to Sunderland!
It obvious they have been biased against us like I know we are Sunderland fans so would think that but it's clear to see. The amount of time wasting that has been allowed as well is a joke.. hopefully that will be a thing of the past now Ross has gone and we actually attack teams.
My brother and his wife were sat on those stairs as there were no seats left, she is semi disabled and they were down for the Grand National and he said it was a nightmare being in that stand, reckons it was literally rocking. Can understand them not letting us in we even suggested we would sit quietly in the empty end of the main stand but the police weren't having any of it. Wrote to Rovers and complained that it should have been tickets only for away fans but they blamed the police. Safc gave us free travel for the next away game as the bus driver cocked up, I did hear the bus company sacked him. When the hat went round for him on the way home don't think anybody on the bus put owt in.
