I saw that at half time & at the end. They always do though, they’ve been jacking off about them for the last year or two..
Our mid-field was weak and poor tonight, need a bit of a general there. .............They were in charge there tonight................... and I agree with most of you, ..... why was Naughton not replaced earlier?
It’s tough games like this, when I feel it shows up for me, the limitations of Grimes as a leader & a presence on the pitch. He’s been & is, a model professional for us, but I feel he’s really now at his limit as a player..
One choice post: “Just watched it back. Their free kick wasn't a free kick, very soft decision from lino and ref. When they take the free kick, you can see Bidwell lining up to run at Raya which he does and connects with him as the ball comes in, arm right across Raya's arm and neck. How we didn't get three points I'll never know, but as I texted my mate immediately after we scored, we still needed to win it and we didn't. Horrible cynical side playing horrible football and yes, I would have taken the point before kick off but I feel gutted to see such a nasty dirty team getting anything from that. They're as ugly as their arse-faced manager and I really hope we finish above them come the end of the season.” Horrible feelers - them and their Manager deserve each other ..... https://griffinpark.org/index.php?threads/swansea-1-1-bees.134848/page-8
Ahh bless that Bee, the thought that somebody is gonna be bubbling themselves to sleep tonight because of dirty nasty Swansea..
**** me there a bunch of moaning cnuts. Oh look at us we should have won, we’re the best team in the league etc etc. They must all go to the school of Frank the moaning cnut. Well if you were that good why didn’t you win? Sign of a good team is when you get points from a poor performance. We’re not going to win all our games, but getting points from ugly poor performance are the difference between a good team and a great team. Frank, here’s £20 get yourself a nice big tin of sticky sticky and **** off back up the smoke. I ****ing loves being a Jack.
As has been alluded to earlier clueless set up the team to try and draw away from home in a game against say Man City or LIverpool allowing the Bees to dictate the pattern of play throughout. We needed a captains performance from Grimes but I don’t think we had it....our forwards were starved of any good ball although they ran their heats out...on the one occasion we had players in their box we scored...all the same we have taken two points off them this season and restricted them to two more than last season....oh and that idiot they smashed us...he was not a happy man...TOUGH
Was surprised when I read that Hourihane’s effort was the first time Swansea have scored directly from a free-kick in a competitive match in almost four years. Gylfi Sigurdsson was the man who last bagged directly from a free-kick for the Swans in a competitive match as his stunner earned the visitors a point against Manchester United at Old Trafford on April 30, 2017.
