If any manager knew the history of ex players scoring against us, he'd sacrifice one of our own players getting sent off by damaging the ex player in a tackle so they would have to go off.
The only hope we have is that we've done better away from home than at home since the restart - 3 against Boro, 3 against Birmingham - let's hope we get a few against Forest. We've lost 2 of our 3 home games since the restart.
The team was crying out for substitutions .... The commentators could see it, we could see it but the guy who gets paid to see it didn’t ......
It’ll be interesting to hear why he left it late and why bring on the oldest Squad player , but we won’t hear any questions so probing as those
He wait's until we go behind to make any big changes. I feel that as we entered the last 20 mins or so, Bielsa wanted the win whereas Cooper was happy with the point, and ultimately it cost us.
Clueless strikes again....fresh legs were needed before Bielsa did his. He changed his formation at half time to counter our threat...clueless did not do anything and we were struggling for most of the second period.
Post on Planet Swans: “Stevie Wonder could see we needed subs - and not Routledge wearing his boots on the wrong feet with ten minutes left. Might as well have put Patricia Routledge on.“
Had forgotten all about it until it was brought up in the pre-match build up. Regardless, it’s a useful reminder for any of your fans upset at the late goal today. Key for us today was to get to half time without conceding, as we always step up a gear in the second half as the opposition tires.
It`s just as well, we wouldn't stand a chance if we got promoted. Better to lose out now than lose in the play offs, which in all likelihood would very well happen. What`s worse than a blind man not being able to see, Cooper not being able to see anything at all.
It’s all part of clueless game plan.....he wants all the experienced players gone whether it is officially to save money or because they know more than him. As it stands next season we will probably struggle with a team of kids as they will listen to him as he is more experienced than him. Honestly we are not strong enough to go up but please give it a whirl properly
I must admit I don’t think Wayne was the right choice if he was going to bring Brewster off. I would have gone for Byers and tried to stop them playing through our midfield. Hey ho onto Forest we go.
Agree , he possibly thought a point was good enough and I would agree, but Wayne is no defender and we were losing the game in the middle shore up where we were weak and see the game out . Late goals conceded this season Forest home 85 Reading home 90 Stoke home 90 Sheffield Wednesday away90 Brentford away 88 Stoke away 90 QPR away 90 Blackburn away 90 Fulham away 90 Hull away 90 Sheffield Wednesday home 90 Leeds home 89
