Seems like our tenure in the PL is about to come to an end, unless by some miracle we beat Stoke and Huddersfield lose their last 2 games. However, to beat Stoke we will have to find the net - something we have done just twice in 8 matches. In fact, it's no wonder none of our players work as fishermen for a living, they'd bloody starve to death not finding the net...... In fairness to Dai, he sussed Carlos fairly early - once his novelty value and quirky phrases faded, we have been on a steady downward spiral. Whichever Division we will be in next season, a new Manager is required - but who will select him? Huw? Pearlman? Landon? I suppose most of us suspected that we would have been relegated in our first season - so staying as long as we have is something most of us would have taken, particularly after our 0-4 loss to Man City in our first ever PL match. However, having had the opportunity to establish ourselves, we have gone and wasted it - the League Cup win followed by the Europa League were arguably the highlights. The downward spiral coincided with Laudrup's departure and the Board focus on an exit plan. Well, we were promised that the Yanks would take us to the next level - what we didn't appreciate at the time was that the next level would be the Championship...... As for Sunday, I have a feeling that freed from their failed attempt to avoid relegation, Stoke will play with an air of freedom and abandon....... Stoke to win 0-2
In yer dreams cowboy Taff, as you know, I sincerely hope you thrash us on Sunday. And I suspect I am not alone in that sentiment. Whatever - don't be a stranger >
Hey Swansea and Stoke fans. Sorry to hear your predicament. I am hoping that we can take matters into our own hands, we have to try at least to get something against City. All the best .
I'm driving up the M6 with my sons Harry Potter wand for you NB: I've got Bony in the back seat, but I'll be bringing Joe Allen home!
Better to come DOWN the M6 mate Already had Bony thanks, the only goals he scored were against you guys. Pretty sure Joe will stay in the PL (not Paul Lambert)
Nossir not I. What an unpleasant fellow you are History person. I wonder what kind of satisfaction passes through your excuse for a brain. I respectfully suggest you keep your thoughts to yourself. Have a good day. Love and Kisses NB
A win for Stoke to finish your season on a high note and I must say your fans were tremendous today. I was only expecting 250 as you had already been relegted, but there must have been @1700 Both sets of fans had the same aim and the banter during the game was tremendous. This followed on from plenty of pre-match joviality and was rounded off in the 87th minute with a rendition of Delilah, which was the loudest I have ever heard any away team sing at the Liberty. See you next season!
