Next up after a disappointing defeat to Arsenal in the FA cup we return to premier league action against Swansea. Last time out we had an impressive 3-0 home win against premier league champions Leicester, with goals from JWP,Jay Rod,and Tadic. Swansea last time out had an impressive 2-3 away win at Liverpool (everyone beats Liverpool at home lately ) with goals from Llorente(2) and Sigurdsson. Hopefully Jay and JWP can shake of their knocks and be fit for this. But VVD likely to miss out through injury. The fixture at st Mary's back in September resulted in a 1-0 home win with a goal from Austin. My team Fraz Cedric,Stephens,Maya,Bertrand JWP,Romeu,Davis Redmond,Tadic Jay Rod If Morocco get knocked out the ACON tonight Boufal might even be available. 0-2 away win
Swansea City v Southampton Referee: Roger East Assistants: J Collin, H Lennard Fourth official: S Martin
If they're all available, I'd imagine it will be the same side that started against Liverpool - even if Boufal is also available.
No more playing silly buggers with the team, just the PL to worry about so lets go for a run of games with a settled team
In this house a draw would be perfect for peace and harmony but what the heck I'll go for a Saints win any day even if it means cooking my own supper for the next seven days. I can survive on bread and cheese, I've done it before. A word of advice to you young lads if you are foolish enough to marry make sure it is to a Saints' supporter, it will save you a lot of grief. Another bit of advice is never marry a school teacher or a nurse, their jobs are so demanding and draining that they are constantly worn out and completely knackered. Their pay is crap as well.
Not sure about anyone else but to me a draw is pretty obviously a bad result. They are 17th in the league, had a couple of better results recently but far from in good form. Anything but a win is a little poor when playing relegation battling sides.
