It's no bluff
This is the end of football and certainly the end of big money takeovers of nufc or any other club
Could there be a silver lining to this? If serious sanctions are handed out, and we get bought out, could we benefit from the potential fall out. I should imagine a block on playing for your country might force players to rethink their options. Could a newly monied NUFC steal away some of n the better players? Loads of ifs and buts in this scenario but you never know.
The Premier League will pass the Saudi Takeover as punishment. But would the Saudis still want to?
No because there's no opportunity to grow the club.. The opportunity for investment is no longer there.
It would make the inter link make perfect sense
Nail on head. Inter probably won't get the full benefit of being in the super league but it'll still be a mega money train for less money up front. However I have a niggling feeling this could work in our favour is the governing bodies man up
No there is no silver lining at all.. This ensures that no club can ever threaten the big 6 simply because there's no point. It's about investing money hoping to gain extra money and this means they'd be pumping in millions knowing they can't make any.
They'll just not try because there's no point.
Yep they get straight into the big money and can showcase the club the way the want to.
The Saudis aren't interested in buying a club that they cannot grow and that cannot ever play on the big stage.. It's completely pointless buying any club outside the big 6 now.
This is game over unless they kick these clubs out the league, but they won't.
Jose Mourinho sacked!!! Come home Jose. Do it for Bobby!!
These clubs at the top are revolting..
This really is the end for me... Its really sad.. Its probably the only thing I enjoy football and its being taken away.. Just that little bit of hope remains and they've gone and taken that.
Lol, can't believe it's real, it's hilarious!
I think I'll try following dortmund..
I predicted this a few days ago on here but I said it'd happen after the cup final.
Where did you see this?
Never going to happen
The premier league is officially a wasteland
Live on talksport.
Nah. I'd pick Mainz. Used to live with a guy 15 years ago from there and he was a massive fan. Watched loads of their games and they'd be my pick.
He won't get a top team. Spurs are a nothing club and clubs like Everton, wolves and Leicester already have top managers. Whilst I agree it's nearly impossible, there is that tenuous Bobby connection ha
