The sympathy for Masters Us lot on here don't have the attention span to read 3 paragraphs so he wouldn't have got down to the bit where you say you lose sympathy for him
Sympathy and Masters do not go in the same post. Please respect house rules please. Rule number 1 - masters is a dick. Rule number 2 - Don’t trust a word he says. Rule number 3 - If it turns out rule number 2 is in fact accurate revert back to rule number 1. Remember he has deprived us of being able to potentially improve the club.
Masters was hand picked by the slimey six. He was appointed for the express purpose of furthering their interests. I have absolutely no sympathy for him whatsoever. My hope is that if the CAT case does indeed go ahead, Masters and Hoffman have the symbolic book thrown at them. They and the PL as a whole.
Premier League haven't stiffed us for 15 years, ****ed around with commercial opportunities, relegated us twice, employed awful managers time after time and had the smallest, least experienced and lowest paid board in PL history. Among other things, all driven by Ashley. They are NOW responsible for us not escaping the nightmare. But we're in a nightmare that is all Ashley's making.
That's true but in the end Mike ashley doesn't have hundreds of billions and he sold us to people that could've taken us to the top 6 over time, so ultimately its the premier league that's denied us and not just the football club either.
Personally I was never bothered about top 6. Man City are as ****ing dull, shallow and vapid a football club as you could ever wish for. They might as well be called Abu Dhabi FC, there's no Man City soul there - a few charity initiatives doesn't fool me. I just wanted a well-run, honest club that tried to better itself year on year with ambition and aspirations. That fat **** robbed us all of 15 years of love for our club. Our youth system is utter ****, scouting is abysmal, coaches dreadful - perhaps with the exception of Jones - and our 17th placed aspirations year on year, with "dont get beat" football, is soul-destroying.
There's definitely been big improvements since we last went down if we're being honest Ashley has spent and he's not sold anyone of note other than Perez who had a release clause in his contract. He tried to keep Benitez until it became clear he wanted more than he wanted to pay him and that was that. Steve Bruce being appointed was a bad one, but since Jones came we've played some decent stuff, scored plenty of goals and we've been the 10th best side in the league for the full duration of today's set up( half a season 19 games) . It's also progressed nicely having been the 7th best side for the last quarter. I'm no Ashley fan and I'm no Bruce fan, but the fact is things are improving and there's reason to believe with 2 or 3 good signings that the form we showed under Bruce and Jones can continue.
Let's not forget that the great Rafa is joining Everton despite saying he loved Liverpool and Everton was a small club. Unfortunately I did better than Rafa and unfortunately he's unfortunately got no loyalty and I've been rewarded for mine.
We are trapped in a loveless marriage at the moment and have been for over a decade. Unfortunately one of the sides involves will only sell the house at full market value and is prepared to wait. That's where we are imo.
We were discussing who's ultimately to blame now and it's most definitely the premier league and the corruption behind denying this city what it's being offered. There's a far bigger evil at play.
I think that would still be incredibly unlikely any time soon.. It would give us a chance over a long period of time though and if they ever did get up there they'd have the money to turn the screw
