    1. AS and RB - does not change the position. It just means that Al Rumayyan as corporate sole is the legal joint owner.

    2. PIF link - Corporate sole establishes legal separation in that Al Rumayyan is effectively the sole director of PIF in law. He runs the company without any form of interference.

    3. Origin of money - Corporate sole allows investment by way of sponsorship. So a PIF company such as ARAMCO can invest via sponsorship. Provided it is not via illegal means in breach of money laundering regs.

    4. Share ownership - could be 33.3%, 50% or any other agreed percentage. It is a backdoor to allow PIF to legally own a football club. All Al Rumayyan has to do is show that he is the person with significant control, something far either to establish

It is controversial because it is a backdoor and in some countries (not the UK) is viewed as a scam.

Well if all this is correct (I don’t have the energy to say otherwise) then why didn’t they just do this last year.

It would show them (PL) they were not doing it through the back door as you say
    they were upfront about everything
unlike a certain 6 other teams I could mention

    Just our luck.
Shelvey ruled out for a month when there's a 2 week international break coming up.

100% a red and I love Ayo but it was out of control, over the top of the ball, studs showing and luckily Fornals didn't have his weight going through that leg planted on the ground otherwise it could have been worse - saying that Ayo weighs as much as a fly so probably wouldn't have broken it either way but was not a good challenge.

Absolutely - could have been a foul the other way and if it was given maybe he wouldn't have staggered into the West Ham player but because he was stumbling he was out of control - the replay really made it look horrific.

So free kick Leicester for the initial trip, I don't think you can send someone off for being tripped and falling into someone, even like that where it could have snapped the lads leg
