At worst I could see it being delayed till after arbitration. Even the PL must be bored of all this ****ing about now.

 

They need leave to appeal.

 

Yeah but it gets done within about a month and they have to have cast iron proof that the rules weren't applied by the judge

 

A Holiday?

 

If that's the case it sounds like if the hearing goes Ashley's way that the premier leagues ****ed then

 

If CAT accepts the case then the PL are ****ed

 

Pretty much. If it gets the go-ahead then I expect PL to go into full on discussions to avoid it asap. For all we know they may even be doing that now to avoid anything being said on the 29th. Not sure there will be much argument's on that day other than PL saying CAT have no jurisdiction over them as they are self governed etc. St James' Holdings making out their a business and should be treated as one.

 

Taking it one step further - arbitration is meant to stand for clubs not taking each other to court over things like transfer disputes, manager contracts etc. Idea being its kept behind closed doors so as not to tarnish the rest of the clubs in the league.

It is not meant to be there for business practices and from my point of view, the PL are a victim of their own success. The more money they have made, the more rights that they sell, the more partners they have - the more they become a commercial entity rather than a sporting entity the more they are at the mercy of cases like this.

This could set a huge unwanted precedent.

Honestly when you think of the state of this whole thing its actually comical.....

The country's best tat salesman has taken over a decade to sell the club.

In that time he failed to sell it to U.A.E coz he got pissed up instead.
Failed to sell it to Dubai because he changed the goal posts.
Failed to sell it to PCP v1.0 and called her a tyre kicker.
Failed to sell it to a Canadian Hotel group.
Failed to sell it to an ex premier league chairman in Peter Kenyon.
Numerous other sales have falling through ranging from the bloody Bin Laden family to Vince McMahon.

He has hired a photographer and a bird in a burkha as his 1st string legal team, and after all of that, its taken a bloke who got pissed up one night, wrote a letter to Borris then got convinced off a mate himself to take a legal claim up against the PL which the club now thinks is its best chance to win this.

Said bloke now makes out he's in the secret loop and spouts off words of wisdom every friday night like an ITK, with a dentist who lives in Dubai and a bloke who does collections for the foodbank.

We have a split fan base with half the loyalist supporters in the world no longer going because their the loyalist supporters the world have ever seen, and the other half that do still go because their the loyalist football supporters the world has ever seen.

We've gone from Kevin Keegan to Steve Bruce.

We have lasses that don't even go to games podcasting about NUFC one minute and Tinder the next

Finally we have so many supposed ITK accounts that range from an Alien Spotter to a dead ****ing pigeon.

Only this club.....

 

That’s the spirit. And we wonder why we are deemed delusional.

And we are still in a takeover 19 months in.
