Yes I read this about the woman in question. I won’t say her name because a I can’t spell it and it drives me nuts and b she’s a fake. Or at least that’s how it appears. As for the rights thing that does seem logical sense however with them being separate countries can they not just arrange a deal with them anyways. Or would bein object. And if they did how can they? It’s a different country all together. I am more confident than ever that this deal is approaching completion due to the fact that it just makes sense for PL to negotiate with Saudi. That’s a lot of new legitimate customers to tap into and advertisement revenue streams will go through the roof. If you look at the news articles and twitter there is no where near as much negative articles from reporters as there was 4 weeks ago.
We’re not ****ed and it’s happening. good morning to all, apart from Richard Keys and Zammo off Grange Hill.
Plus any political objection in this countries has no grounds either. What are they objecting to. Piracy? That’s being addressed! Sports washing? They are trying to make a difference and improve so how can you stop that. Plus there is no connection anyways. Murder. No connection. As far as the PL are concerned PIF is a speedster legal entity which just so happens to be owned by the state. On this last point. If I owned a multi billion pound company in the uk and I get tried for murder. The company still continues as it’s a separate legal entity. It might get transferred to my wife or kids but it still continues!
Its great to see everyone being so positive about it all again. I hope this is it this time, finally!!!
Given this news about a deal on TV rights and that the deal is still potentially going to go through it's safe to assume the opposition who've gone quiet will be back on the offensive. They've held their lines thinking the battle is won I suspect.
ahhh ok never knew that..... I feel sorry for these people tbh.. they have their own beliefs and laws , but that doesn't mean they're bad people. I feel like we're acting racist towards them. I mean this country has a past, but thankfully we've been allowed to change and still are .
The Saudis human rights record is appalling. Having said that, ours was atrocious just over 100 years ago. The Saudis are reforming gradually. Very gradually. Until they rid themselves of Wahabi Islam though they will never truly reform.
If the tv rights deal has been thrashed out then that is a massive block removed We should see some movement pretty quick if true
Indeed. The Saudi human rights doesn't sit well with me but when you consider that being Homosexual was only "allowed" here 50yrs ago then we can't get on our high horse too much.
the world has come along way in all honesty, but everyone wants more more more and it's all me me me and what about us.. I have a mentality that every pound I get placed in my hand has been removed from someone who needed it.
