Brenda should have hooked Wilf at half time .. bloke had an absolute mare and we improved markedly when Pappy came on.

Albrighton was on the pitch 10 mins and returning from injury. Ive said for a long time he is our best winger by far. He turns our consistent performances and always works hard for the team

 

I didn’t make the game and haven’t seen any type of highlights, so from a ‘result only’ point of view I really don’t care. We’ll lose some of these types of games and have been well won over by Brendan (who I didn’t overly want at the time). Futures bright.

 

Very true. The weekends results show this for the other teams around us competing for 7th. I did half expect us to lose but hadn't expected Everton to be defeated by Fulham or Wolves by Southampton.

FYI Ed, there are no highlights apart from Albrighton returning so save yourself time looking!

Dunno why you think that the winger positions are the same but they are not and I want players to play in their proper one - for Gray that is the left. You are right that would make him in direct competition with Barnes who has had impressive moments but a lot more unimpressive ones so I would drop him for Gray. I know that might upset you, me saying drop your favourite for your scapegoat but that is my opinion.

I'm all for Albrighton playing on the right so I agree with you there which hopefully would make you feel better.

Dunno what you are talking about with Mahrez though - he was the best player in 18 games? He joined us when we were in the Championship where he second fiddle to Knockhert and spent most of the time on the left wing. The following season was the great escape and fortunate that we stuck with him in the end and not let him go as he didn't show what would happen when Raneiri got hold of him in his 3rd season with us at the age of 24.

 

Gray is third on the scoring chart - he must be good!

Harvey Barnes and Ben Chilwell lost the ball away more than anyone else - that must mean they should be dropped right?
