Yeah I think Johnson is more central isn't he?
    There's this guy

I don't know much about it and FM is no guarantee obviously but they rate this lad as a potential top premier league player. I wonder, they are quite accurate in most cases so I'd be surprised if he doesn't have something about him

Glad we have another dedicated RB at the club but he Is only 17 though - if he is that much of a prospect, you don't want to through him in the deep end straight away if Simpson gets injured.

Only thing I can think of that we are planning to do is that we might shift into a back 3 in the future - Albrighton would make a great right wing back with Chilwell on the other side.

I agree on both counts. Maybe the future is Thandi Johnson Moore Knight Chilwell in a back 5!! That'd be very homegrown.
I'd like to see us move away from the 4-4-2 with the wingbacks as you say. It looked so threatening against Athletico and we do seem to have the personnel suited to it

Leicester XI: Hamer, Amartey, Maguire, Fuchs, Chilwell, Musa, Ndidi, King, Gray, Ulloa, Slimani.

Subs: Vardy, Albrighton, Jakupovic, Okazaki, Mendy, Mahrez, Knight.

Maguire and Fuchs are the CBs and looks like Gray is on the right wing - I hope I'm wrong but really don't have good feeling about the match now...

    1-0 Gray - thank God.

We deserve the lead but tbh this game has been rather rubbish - we have two big buggers in attack and they are ending up on the wing as Musa and Gray keep cutting inside but then again that is probably for the best as when Musa tries to cross, it ends up in Row Z.

Hamer nearly dropped the ball into his own net, Slimani is really trying - his enthusiasm is good but will be lucky if he doesn't end up booked and everyone else hasn't had much to do tbh.

Maguire is getting a good reception from his old team though.

Slimani 3-0 - nearly missed the ball altogether but he didn't which is all that matters.

    4-1 Musa

Was a good win - while I hope to never see that back 4 together again, the the team did really well.

Would like to see Vardy and Ihenatcho with Gray and Musa on the wings - for all of my doom and gloom if Mahrez leaves and leaving a void of creativity, all we would need to do is just boot the ball aimlessly into space for any of them to run on to and things will happen.

Very average first half, I wondered if Musa was going to ever hit a straight ball! Much improved in the second, great skill from Gray and we dominated down the right with Amartey and Musa. Leo was disappointing but Slim good. Ndidi excellent and King quiet but great ball to Slim for the second and good feet to go round the keeper. Glad Musa got his goal, you could see how much it meant to the team.
I was in the Sheff Utd end with the Mrs and some mates and disappointing that the City fans didn't stick to their word when Musa scored!

Well I couldn't really hear much from our lot as they were singing between themselves on account of barely any Blades fans turning out and the ones that did being ****ing boring but the clearest thing they sang all night was 'if Musa scores we're on the pitch'. Nobody did though which is probably a good thing as we'd just have been slaughtered by the media if our fans had the nerve to do that

We are facing Liverpool at home in the next round - might go down to watch our reserves Vs their reserves.

Ah thats a good draw, cause i can't make the prem fixture <ok>

Looks like it would be worth trying to progress through this round, alot of prem sides are guaranteed to be knocked out.
