Maddison, Tielemans and Perez all creating chances Its the first game of the season. Never a time to judge or be critical Coco the clown had months into the season before I got his back and rightfully so
Which led to their keeper having absolutely nothing to do all game. Regardless of it being the 1st game or not, if Puel was in charge of that performance, he would have got slated for it. Very good in possession, but no end product.
No one got on Puel’s back after 1,5 or 10 games. Puel was given a fair shot. Are you really trying to compare playing 2 defensive mids at home against Wolves on the opening day to playing 3 defensive mids and subbing your only striker off against Cardiff at home half way through the season? I really dont get some people wanting to create pressure on Rodgers. Go back and read Andy King’s interview and see what Puel was like. It wasnt just his tactics why he needed to go
Can you tell me who are 3 defensive midfielders were for that game as I can only see Ndidi and Mendy?! The only thing I am comparing is your obvious hatred towards Puel. We can all sit behind a screen and be a keyboard warrior!! Puel was on a hiding to nothing and the treatment he got from our "fans" was despicable. I know that it's all in the past now, but Sunday's performance was no different than that from a performance under Puel IMO. ie kept the ball for long periods, but created nothing. I wish some people would just call it as it is.
Ndidi, Mendy and Choudhury played Fans and players didnt like Puel or his methods **** Puel anyway. He is last seasons news Stop living in the past and move forwards like we are as a club. Rather then say we didnt look great going forward how about how well Soyuncu and Evans played? After 1 game your sharpening your knife for Rodgers and bringing up old stuff. Look forward to Chelsea on Sunday, not backwards
Choudhury didn't play! I have moved on, just thought I would point out how some people see things they only want to see.
Wrong game. Was Southampton home https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46766862 I seen what was happening in front of me
