If a successor can be found, now would be a good time to ditch McCann. Three weeks of intensive training for a new guy. Personally I would stick with McCann because I'm not sure anyone who would make a genuine difference would be available or affordable.
Can’t we do a straight swap, McCann for Radford, cheap option should suit both parties, Radford would be happy to be only losing by 5 or 6 each week and McCann doesn’t give a f@@£ how many are conceded.
What do you mean by affordable? What Enob is willing to pay, hypothetically, isn't the same for a normal club.
Brave and interesting last paragraph mate. With all what’s hitting the fan at the moment have a feeling all clubs will ask players to treat the next few weeks like the close season and simply stay fit as possible.
Time he went and his clueless coaches, he is out of his depth and struggling big style, clueless and not a manager for championship level
McCann has to go. I understand that 8 games is hardly any time to make a big change but frankly McCann will not change or improve anything. I can't see that we have anything to lose now.
There’s no point sacking him now, it won’t make a difference. The time to do it was in early March when we were on the slide.
We ask this all the time but who would we get? I think we are currently a lost cause. Best we could hope for is ash, Brian Hughes etc... a few x players who understand the situation but might be able to motivate a few players. Hoping ex players might take it is maybe expecting to much
Possibly not, but surely its worth a try? Would hardly cost the Allams a penny either. He's on a rolling contract, just dont renew it. Put him on gardening leave for his final month or so and move up Dawson. Exactly my thinking, we need an ex player who actually gives a ****. Step up Andy Dawson, bleeds for the shirt and has a bit of experience in management already.
Scunny put Dawson in charge for a similar amount of games at the end of last season, he didn’t win a single one of them, not sure why anyone would fancy him doing the same for us.
