Sir Terry Wogan has died after a short illness aged only 77. RIP I for one liked him. Good entertainer
Great TV and radio presenter who will be sadly missed. However, I hope with all my heart they don't start playing his god damned awful version of The Floral Dance, that was somehow a hit, as a tribute...This is a song that I associate with my late father who always sang this song at New Years parties, and infinitely better than Terry..
Albeit the 'Contest' was never the same without him - I only ever watched [tolerated] the Eurovisions for his piss taking commentary "Who knows what hellish future lies ahead? Actually I do, I've seen the rehearsals." His optimistic introduction to the 2007 contest in Finland
The only reason to watch the euro song crap was for Terry's piss-taking. He had a great, dry sense of humour. Another guy who'll be missed. RIP
RIP Terry. Gave so much to the country, Children in need in particular, what a dude. Great British Icon. Great name too.
Peerless radio & tv presenter, I would be truly surprised if anyone with half brain had a bad word to say about him.
