Zapacosta has joined Atalanta on a permanent deal, according to the Chelsea news channel.
Thanks buddy, wish you all the best.

In reality it’s more good business as we have offloaded wages and surplus players. It’s more money in the war chest and our net spend looks good.

Someone is doing something very smart in the transfer market for us and all of a sudden we’ve put together a team, squad and manager that are once again a force to be reckoned with.

We seem to work slowly and quietly in the background, and eventually get where we want to go.
Have to say under Marina , (and probably Audi ) we seem to be better focused on squad members who play a specific role, and not just bring in "good players" who eventually don't fit the Team style. Zappacosta never quite made it here, but is a better player in Italian football, so good luck to him. Now, that just leaves Barkley, Drinkwater, Rahman....................

If we can get Kounde & Saul over the line before the deadline we’ve had an unbelievable window. So many squad players who barely featured have left and with that, given us £100m+. Bakayoko out next to Milan and then I expect Barkley and sadly probably Loftus Cheek will go too.
